Leah Roubekas
Owner/Groomer
Leah grew up on a small farm with numerous animals and has had many different pets in her life over the years. As a result of her passion and caring for the wellbeing of cats and dogs, it was only natural this would lead to a career in grooming and owning her own Pet Spaw.
In her spare time, she likes going to the gym, reading, spending time with her family and 4 children and her two fur babies Willow and Sam. She has also created a new line of health and wellbeing products for our canine friends called Calm Dog.
Anastasiia
Assistant Manager - Senior Groomer - Asian Fusion Stylist
At the age of 15, I started getting involved in cynology when a Labrador puppy joined our family. I completed my training at the “Antheus” canine center, where I trained Labradors to become guide dogs. This path was particularly important to me because my father was blind, and I wanted to raise a helper for him. However, despite my passion for dogs, I decided to pursue a career as a lawyer.
In 2022, due to the war in Ukraine, I moved to Lithuania and changed my profession to a groomer. After completing a basic training course, I realized that I had found my true calling. Since then, I have been continually developing my skills, enhancing my qualifications, and participating in master classes.
In 2024, I moved to Canada, where I realized that I wanted to delve deeper into animal behavior to make grooming as comfortable as possible for them. I obtained a certificate as a dog behavior specialist and am currently a student in ethology. My goal is to provide the best care and attention to pets, as each of them deserves an individual approach and love.
Kateryna
Groomer
My name is Kateryna, I am 24 years old, and my life has always been filled with love for animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I dreamed of having a furry friend, but since my parents were against it, I found another way – volunteering at shelters in my hometown Dnipro. Helping stray dogs find families and supporting the “Kovcheg” shelter showed me that dogs are not just pets, but true friends who deserve love and care.
After moving to Canada with my husband, I finally fulfilled my dream – we welcomed a corgi, who is now three years old. His challenges with socialization inspired me to study dog behavior more deeply and eventually led me to grooming.
For me, grooming is not just about a haircut -it’s about giving every dog comfort, attention, and love. I believe each dog deserves an individual approach, because they gift us the most precious thing -unconditional loyalty and joy.
