Having just moved back to Calgary I was desperate to find a good groomer. Tried a couple with disappointing results A neighbour recommended Roxy Rover and I am thrilled! From the moment I spoke to Chris I knew they take their dog clients seriously! My nearly 15 year old Havanese came out happy and beautiful- even sporting a tie for the holidays. His groomer Carol was a lovely person who put him at ease and listened carefully to my requests. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. If there were 6 stars I would give that to Carol, Chris and Roxy River!

I have a big dog who hates grooming and just leans on people and gives up. It’s rough. Even though he’s a problem butt they always get the job done and are patient and considerate. I just hate how busy they are all the time (bc they’re that good!) so if you call then expect the callback in the late afternoon. For real, they’re kind patient and love the animals they take care of. I’ve moved and have another closer place but I still choose them and drive the extra time. That’s how great they are!!

I took our mixed breed dog to Roxy Rover for the first time today. He is a rescue and we don’t know much about his past other than he had been abandoned and then spent months in a shelter in the US. We weren’t sure how he’d be at a groomer as new situations make him nervous. The people at Roxy were so patient and kind with him and they did a super job. I would not hesitate to recommend them especially if you have an anxious dog!

My dog Loki, who is a St. Bernard/Bernese/Heeler mix had the best experience today! Leah and her team did such an amazing job with the bath and tidy grooming and he came home happy and looking so handsome! They were on time and treated him with love and care. Leah is an outstanding dog groomer who consistently does a fantastic job with our cockapoo. After trying several other groomers and never being satisfied, we found Leah and couldn’t be happier. She is fabulous with our dog, and he always looks great after his grooming sessions. Highly recommended!

Leah, the owner took such great care of our puppy Betsy and her first haircut. She is a crazy little puppy and Leah did such a great job despite her not wanting to be trimmed! We could tell Betsy loved her and felt cared for. Leah allowed us to hold some treats so that she could cut more of her face. We appreciated her care so much. The professionalism and care was so appreciated. We are very thankful for the time and effort.

I was nervous when I took my cat In for a nail clipping as I previously had a bad experience at another spa. Ruby did a Great job keeping my cat calm and clipping Sookie’s long nails! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend Roxi Rover Pet Spa for your pet grooming!

About Us

We provide grooming in Calgary for cats and dogs, including nail trims, face trims, puppy intros, bath and tidy, full grooms and customized Asian Fusion grooming. From toy size to extra large, we will have your pet looking it’s best!

Due to our reputation, we have a number of clients who will travel from other parts of the city of Calgary (and a few from out of town) who bring their loved ones for their grooming appointments throughout the year.

Located just off 17th avenue and 37th street in Calgary, Alberta, we have lots of free parking to do drop-offs and pick-ups, a gated lobby entrance for security and safety, and minimal kenneling for stress-free grooming.
