Leah, Willow and Sam

Leah Roubekas

Owner/Groomer

Leah grew up on a small farm with numerous animals and has had many different pets in her life over the years. As a result of her passion and caring for the wellbeing of cats and dogs, it was only natural this would lead to a career in grooming and owning her own Pet Spaw.

In her spare time, she likes going to the gym, reading, spending time with her family and 4 children and her two fur babies Willow and Sam. She has also created a new line of health and wellbeing products for our canine friends called Calm Dog.

Leah is currently working on her Certification to become a  “Naturopathic and Holistic Healing Pet Coach” for those who are interested in understanding and learning more about alternative holistic medicine to animal health care.

Carole

Groomer

My name is Carolina Pansserini, I am 28 years old, and I am from Brazil. I grew up on a farm in a small town. I’ve always had contact with animals, especially with dogs and horses. A fun fact about me is that when I was 12 years old, I started participating in barrel horse racing, but what I liked most was the relationship with the horses.

Since I was a child, I’ve always had dogs because my parents owned a dog kennel, and they also worked as groomers, which inspired me to start my career in this profession. In 2015, I took my first professional grooming course, and together with my family, we decided to open our pet salon. I dedicated myself to learning more about grooming styles and bathing techniques, always providing better service to clients and dogs.

However, in the meantime, I fell in love with Chihuahuas and dedicated myself to working as a dog breeder, which provided me with the opportunity to learn more about dogs’ behavior, health, and needs. Through this experience, I developed a deep respect and love for them, shaping my identity in such a way that I can confidently say that dogs are part of who I am.

Val Carte

Val

Groomer

Valerie grew up in steel town of Hamilton, Ontario. She came from a family of four that had many four legged friends. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters and turtles. Her passion for animals started at a very young age.

Valerie started her dream career 15 years ago and has never looked back. Grooming quickly became more than a job, it became a lifestyle. Attending grooming conventions all over North America, Valerie has educated herself in all aspects of the trade. Senior and difficult dogs are Valerie’s specialty. With a lot of patience, gentle handling and love, your special furry friend will get through the experience with comfort and ease.
